It’s been a while, but we’re back!

My last post was back in 2020, and wow, has life changed since then. I got engaged, married, experimented with some amazing recipes (I’ll share the good ones here eventually), and navigated a whirlwind of personal and professional experiences over the last few years.

But through all that, one thing has been missing…

For years I’ve been smitten with Vizslas. For those unfamiliar, Vizslas are Hungarian hunting dogs, known as “Velcro Dogs”, with beautiful rust-colored coats, endless energy, and the sweetest, most affectionate personalities.

After years of dreaming, researching, and attending a few dog shows, my husband and I are finally taking the plunge and adding a Vizsla puppy to our family!

As I write this, we’re just one day away from meeting the puppies in person for the first time, and I can hardly contain my excitement! It’s still too early to know which pup will be ours, as personality and structural tests haven’t been completed yet, but we’re thrilled to see a bit of their personalities shine through in person.

Oh, and in case you hadn’t noticed, I’ve rebranded this blog from “The Health Lunatic” to “Vizsla Diaries.” It’s a new chapter, one where I’ll be sharing something much more exciting than my silly gluten free recipes, I will be focusing on the adventures of our growing family with our little puppy. A mix of inspiration, puppy love, and all the fun that comes with it.
